What is Rafting？ Minakami Town, located along the upper Tone River in Gunma Prefecture, is a globally renowned Wild rafting rapids destination. From the High Water season in May and June to refreshing summer rafting and autumn foliage tours, there are various courses to enjoy. Rafting is a water sport where a team paddles together on an inflatable boat (8-person capacity: 7 guests + 1 guide) to navigate through thrilling rapids. Each rafting boat is accompanied by a river guide, who provides instructions on paddling and safety before the adventure begins, making it safe and fun even for beginners. ◆Boat Arrangement Groups of 6–7 guests will share one boat. Groups of 2–5 guests may share a boat with other participants. ◆Participation Requirements ・Open to everyone ・aged 5 to 75 years old (children must be approximately 110 cm tall). ※During May–June or after heavy rain, elementary school students may not be allowed to participate.※ Alternative activities may be offered. ※Preschool children can join from late August onward. ◆Mid-August and Saturday afternoons are particularly crowded. Outdoor Annual Pass

Information on TOP Minakami Company's Annual Passport ■What is an Annual Passport? This is a passport for outdoor experiences that allows you to use all of our tours as much as you like. You can use any of our tours, such as rafting, canyoning, canoe, SUP, buggy, hydrospeed, packraft, etc., at any time. The period during which you can use it is from late March to early December, so you can use it as much as you like when you like, making it a very good deal. ■How to use Each activity has its own annual passport reservation page, so first apply for the activity you want to participate in from there. We will explain the details after you have paid for the passport when you come to TOP Minakami Company on the day.
White Water Rafting

The rapids rafting course is a rafting experience that is only available on days with high water levels in May and June! Why not try rapids rafting on the Minakami Tone River? The Tone River, famous as one of the three most violent rivers in Japan, and Bando Taro are located here in Minakami Town! This course is recommended for those who want to experience aggressive rafting♪ We offer a half-day rapids rafting course and a long course that goes down the river all day. ●What is the White water rafting course? This is a rafting course that is only available on days with high water levels. The guide will check the rapids course and decide the course for that day! The distance you will go down is about 12km on the half-day long course and over 20km on the full-day course! ※The full-day course will go down the half-day course twice.
