What is Hydrospeed? This is a river version of bodyboarding, where you put your upper body on a rubber boat made for one person, put fins on your feet, and balance your body as you go down the rapids of the Tone River in Minakami. If rafting is a team sport, hydrospeed is an individual sport. Because you are right on the water's surface, not only is the excitement doubled, but the speed you feel is incomparable to rafting! ! Hydrospeed is the ultimate river sport where you can feel the waves with your whole body as you move forward. ※Life jackets are worn, so even those who can't swim can participate with peace of mind. In addition, before going down the river, the guide will carefully explain how to operate the boat and safety instructions in a place with a gentle current. After that, the guide will lead you down the river. ●Hydrospeed safety Minakami Town's hydrospeed tours are conducted by specialized guides who investigate the weather and the site in advance, and are fully prepared, but they are not necessarily safe. Although a professional guide will always accompany you, as you are dealing with Mother Nature, there is a risk of river flooding or flash flooding due to weather conditions. Hydrospeed is a sport where you go down a river in a boat, and it is a tour in nature, so it is dangerous. In addition, since each hydrospeed course has a different grade, we conduct training to further strengthen safety.
