Minakami is famous for its hot springs, and you can use the hot springs at Minakami Onsen as a day trip. Among the town’s attractions are the Folk Village (Takuminosato) and a tour of the Lock Field Dam. We also offer a plan that includes activities such as rafting and canyoning at this facility. You can make a reservation on the day of your stay or the next day!
The glamping site is located within the TOP Minakami base, so there is no need to move.

[Minakami Canoeing Experience]
What is a Canadian canoe?
It is a boat for one to three people, paddled with a single-bladed paddle. It originated from Native American use in North America.
It was primarily used by Canadian Native Americans to travel across lakes and ponds, hence the name "Canadian canoe."
More stable than a kayak, a Canadian canoe allows you to safely explore inaccessible spots and mountain streams, making it a great choice for those looking for a relaxing and scenic experience.
All passengers paddle in unison, slowly navigating the lake surrounded by nature. Once you become accustomed to the controls, you'll experience the sensation of gliding lightly across the lake at high speed and be able to navigate in any direction you want.
Enjoy an exquisite lake cruise surrounded by green foliage in spring and summer, and autumn foliage in autumn.

◇Canoe experience (Canadian canoe) precautions
・Please note that pregnant women, those who are not in good health, those who have drunk alcohol on the day, and those who are hungover will be refused the tour on the day. Please note that if you are unable to participate in the tour for the above reasons, a cancellation fee will be charged.
・In the unlikely event that a participant is injured, our guides are fully trained in rescue training and first aid training.
・The tour will be held rain or shine. However, if the lake water level rises and the situation becomes dangerous, the guide may cancel the tour at his/her discretion.

[Regarding children's participation]
・Elementary school students and above can participate.

[Age target]

Outdoor tours are sports that involve nature, so they are not necessarily safe.
As they are conducted in nature, they contain dangerous elements.
Please make sure you understand the details before making a reservation.

◆Guide standards
Outdoor tours in Minakami Town are governed by the Outdoor Tourism Ordinance, which sets regulations and standards, and the Outdoor Association, a general incorporated association, has been established, which sets even stricter standards and regulations.
Our guides have passed these tests, and all outdoor tours are accompanied by Rescue 3 and Medical First Aid certified personnel, so you can participate with peace of mind.

◆Insurance details
All tours include facility attendant liability insurance (coverage up to 300 million yen per person per accident).
Accidents and injuries caused by personal actions are not covered, so we recommend that you take out personal injury insurance.
Customers who have not taken out insurance in advance can take out this insurance on the day at our company, with a non-refundable premium.

■TIPI Glamping

●Please note
- Fireworks are prohibited on the premises and in the parking lot, and fireworks are also prohibited in the neighborhood.
(If you would like to set off fireworks, please let us know and we will guide you to a designated location.)
- All food and drink trash must be taken home.
- Please do not make noise outdoors or in the tents after 10pm. This will cause inconvenience to other customers.
- Credit cards are not accepted. Please prepare cash or PayPay for payment.
If the behavior does not improve after multiple warnings, you may be asked to leave.
As this is a mountainous area, there are quite a lot of bugs in August, so if you do not like them, we recommend a hotel or a lodging facility with indoor dining.
It gets quite cold at night from April to the end of May and from mid-September.
Please wear warm clothes as there are no heating facilities in the tents.

[Regarding Tour Cancellations]
Depending on weather conditions or circumstances on the tour day, the guide may determine that the tour is unsafe and cancel it. Please be aware of this in advance.
※ In case of complete cancellation, the tour fee will not be charged.
※ Please note that transportation costs to our location will be at your own expense.

[Regarding Cancellations]
If the customer cancels due to personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will apply:
10～7 days before → 10%
6～2 days before → 30%
The day before → 50%
On that day → 100%
※ Please note that even if you are unable to make it to the tour due to traffic delays, you may still be charged the full amount.
