Here in Minakami, which is a natural treasure trove, there are many opportunities to hunt for edible wild plants.
In the mountains of spring, abundant plants such as butterbur shoots, butterburs, bracken, daylilies, Japanese knotweed, Japanese pepper, Japanese pepper buds, Japanese angelica-tree, wild carrots, ferns, fiddleheads, and taros can be harvested.
Savoring the aroma of natural ingredients as you eat tempura, boiled vegetables, mixed rice, and more is something special.
Our tours are also suitable for small groups, so you can participate with your friends and family.

Plan Details

Once the reception is complete, we will transfer to our company vehicle from our TOP Minakami base and head into the mountains. We will take you to a secret place that only our guide knows.
The tour will take about 3 hours.
You will be able to pick lots of wild vegetables, so please bring them back and make delicious dishes out of them (^^♪
(We will also teach you the recipes)

It is called Momijigasa because it resembles the maple leaf umbrella.
Sansho is a useful wild vegetable that is used in a wide range of dishes, from sprouts to flowers.
A popular mountain vegetable; butterbur, butterbur miso and tempura patties
Mountain udon, miso stew and kinpira tempura are delicious!
It's popular among local wild vegetable pickers.
It takes a lot of work to prepare bracken, but it goes great with stews!

◆ Conditions for not participating
・People who have consumed alcohol・Pregnant people・People with injuries or illnesses
◆ Weather
・Tours will be held even in rainy weather.

[Regarding Tour Cancellations]
Depending on weather conditions or circumstances on the tour day, the guide may determine that the tour is unsafe and cancel it. Please be aware of this in advance.
※ In case of complete cancellation, the tour fee will not be charged.
※ Please note that transportation costs to our location will be at your own expense.

[Regarding Cancellations]
If the customer cancels due to personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will apply:
10～7 days before → 10%
6～2 days before → 30%
The day before → 50%
On that day → 100%
※ Please note that even if you are unable to make it to the tour due to traffic delays, you may still be charged the full amount.
