[Winter Only] Winter Half-Day Rafting Experience & TAPA – Bed Type (Stay Only)

●Gunma Rafting (Maebashi Rafting Half-Day Course) You can enjoy winter rafting here in the Maebashi area of Gunma Prefecture, which is only 1.5 hours away from the Kanto region.*May be in the Minakami area. Rafting in winter is also fun, not just in summer. It is done in a relatively calm location, so unlike in summer, you won't get splashed with water. You can also make new discoveries while rafting while looking at the winter scenery. After enjoying rafting, relax at the campsite in a warm room, which is fully heated.

■Cottage & Rafting [Fully Private] ・One accommodation building is available for rent After enjoying rafting, stay in a newly built cottage (^^♪ This plan is recommended for those who want to spend time in a completely private setting ■This plan is a lodging package that includes accommodation and winter rafting, with meals included. This is a bed type (bedding included). The room is equipped with a heater, refrigerator, bath, flush toilet, and mini kitchen. ※You can bring your own food! ■Please note that cooking is not allowed inside the room. [Private cottage with sauna] This is a package plan that includes a cottage and rafting. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel, and a spirit of adventure! ・The accommodation building is for private use, and for rafting, those with 6 or more people will share a boat, and those with 5 or fewer people will share the boat with other people. <br> For those who want to raft, take a dip in the hot springs, and use the sauna, we recommend the glamping-style outdoor set plan at Shioya Spa! <br> You can spend a stylish and luxurious time. Each building has two hot spring baths, so you can relax in private.

Enjoy rafting in winter!

Rafting is usually associated with summer, but you can also enjoy this exciting activity during winter!

Winter rafting offers a completely different atmosphere from summer. Enjoy the peaceful river, beautiful winter scenery and the fresh winter air while rafting down the river with your friends and family.
We select relatively calm sections of the river during winter, so you will generally experience less splashing than during summer rafting.
An experienced river guide will accompany each tour and explain the safety rules and basic paddling techniques before departure, making this activity suitable even for first-time rafters.

Experience rafting in a completely different way this winter!
Winter rafting is recommended for families, couples, friends and groups looking for a unique outdoor adventure in Japan.
The location and course may change depending on the weather, water level and river conditions. Depending on the conditions, the tour may be held in the Minakami or Maebashi area.

Things to Bring

Required
・Swimwear [Worn under the wetsuit. Rental is not available.]
・Towel
・Glasses strap, if you wear glasses
・Shoes that can get wet, such as outdoor shoes or sneakers
Crocs and shoes without secure heel straps cannot be used.

・Rash guard
・Quick-drying/synthetic clothing
・Swim goggles
・Change of clothes
・Warm sweatshirt or jacket
・Personal medication
・Warm winter clothing for before and after the tour

Important Notes

・For safety reasons, hand-held cameras are not allowed during the tour.
・GoPro or other mounted devices that keep your hands free are acceptable.
・Pregnant women, those feeling unwell, individuals who have consumed alcohol on the day of the tour, or those who are hungover will not be allowed to participate.
・Tours proceed even in rainy conditions. Please note that cancellations due to personal reasons, a cancellation fee will be charged.

◆Water Level Regulations
・Minakami Town has strict safety standards. If the water level exceeds the limit, the tour may be cancelled.
・In case of cancellation, you can switch to alternative activities such as lake rafting or other available outdoor activities for the day.

◆Important Notes for Participants
・Outdoor tours are conducted in nature and may involve inherent risks.
・Please understand this thoroughly before making a reservation.

◆Guide Standards
・Minakami’s outdoor tours follow the Outdoor Tourism Ordinance, which enforces strict safety regulations and standards.
・All guides are certified in Rescue 3 and Medical First Aid, ensuring your safety throughout the tour.

◆Insurance Coverage
・All tours include facility liability insurance (up to ¥300 million per accident per person).
・Personal injuries or accidents caused by individual actions are not covered under this insurance.
・It is recommended to purchase accident insurance. If you do not have prior coverage, you can opt for a one-day insurance plan through the company on the day of the tour.

[Regarding Tour Cancellations]
Depending on weather conditions or circumstances on the tour day, the guide may determine that the tour is unsafe and cancel it. Please be aware of this in advance.
※ In case of complete cancellation, the tour fee will not be charged.
※ Please note that transportation costs to our location will be at your own expense.

[Regarding Cancellations]
If the customer cancels due to personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will apply:
10～7 days before → 10%
6～2 days before → 30%
The day before → 50%
On that day → 100%
※ Please note that even if you are unable to make it to the tour due to traffic delays, you may still be charged the full amount.
