・Canyoning safety
Canyoning is conducted by a professional canyoning guide who investigates the weather and the site in advance, but it is not always safe. It involves risks as you are dealing with nature. Depending on the weather, there are dangerous elements such as flooding of rivers and flash floods. Be sure to follow the guide's instructions during the tour.

●Canyoning guide
Instructors include guides from other countries, so make sure you understand the explanations well. There are also language differences, so if you don't understand something, be sure to ask again before participating.
We recommend that customers who participate in the tour take out accident insurance and sports insurance in advance.
(Injury insurance is available on site)

●Canyoning safety standards
Canyoning tours are conducted by the General Incorporated Association Outdoor Federation in Minakami Town. A canyoning union has been established within this organization, which improves skills, familiarizes people with safety issues, and sets guide standards.
In addition, the town has strict outdoor regulations, and we meet these standards to hold our tours.
Also, since the grade of each course is different, we conduct training to further strengthen safety.
Canyoning tours are a sport conducted in nature, so we conduct the tours with safety in mind.

●Request to customers
Canyoning tours are not always safe.
Because it is conducted in nature, there are places where the footing is poor (mountain paths and riverbeds) and it is difficult to walk, and you may fall.
We ask that customers who participate understand that it is a dangerous sport and participate in the tour.

◆The tour is quite crowded during the Obon period in August and on Saturday afternoons.
If you don't like crowded situations, we recommend going at a different time of year, as it is less crowded!

※There is also a canyoning course with a 10:30AM meeting.
(The total tour time is about 3 hours, and you will return to the base at 1:00PM)
※Please note that the time may vary slightly depending on the weather, water level, and the number of customers on the day.
※If you are using the expressway on weekends and holidays, please leave a little earlier.

・Please note that pregnant women, those who are unwell, those who have drunk alcohol on the day, and those who are hungover will be refused the tour on the day.

◆Request to customers participating in water canyoning tours
Outdoor tours are sports that involve nature, so they are not necessarily always safe.
As they are conducted in nature, they contain dangerous elements.
Please understand the details before making a reservation.

◆Minakami canyoning guide standards
Outdoor tours in Minakami Town are governed by the Outdoor Tourism Ordinance, which sets regulations and standards, and the Outdoor Association, a general incorporated association, has been established, which sets even stricter standards and regulations.
Our canyoning guides meet these standards, and all outdoor tours are accompanied by qualified Rescue 3 and medical first aid personnel, so you can participate with peace of mind.

◆Insurance details
All tours include facility attendant liability insurance (coverage up to 300 million yen per accident per person).
We recommend that you take out personal injury insurance as accidents and injuries caused by personal actions are not covered.
Customers who have not signed up in advance can sign up on the day at our company on a non-refundable basis.

[Regarding Tour Cancellations]
Depending on weather conditions or circumstances on the tour day, the guide may determine that the tour is unsafe and cancel it. Please be aware of this in advance.
※ In case of complete cancellation, the tour fee will not be charged.
※ Please note that transportation costs to our location will be at your own expense.

[Regarding Cancellations]
If the customer cancels due to personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will apply:
10～7 days before → 10%
6～2 days before → 30%
The day before → 50%
On that day → 100%
※ Please note that even if you are unable to make it to the tour due to traffic delays, you may still be charged the full amount.
